You're always complaining that your life's too hard Telling everybody you got the wrong hand of cards But nobody can save you from the way you are mmmm Just gotta take a leap of faith, trust me, it ain't that far 'Cause in order to grow, to make a change You just gotta believe before you make that leap of faith You got to know it ain't an easy breezy road ahead Should be zooming down the freeway but you wrecked your car instead And it takes more than just a breath of fresh air to clear your head So pull over for a minute, trust me, the world won't end 'Cause in order to grow, to make a change You just gotta believe, wipe the tears off of your face You got to ooh, ooh, make the leap of faith Ooh, ooh take the leap Ooh, ooh, make the leap of faith Ooh, ooh take the leap

Who the hell am I looking at? The mirror cracks and turns my face into television static Who am I listening to? My throat's gone raw from shouting at you And surfing through radio stations just to hear myself But I'm changing the channel now I’m disconnected Pulled the plug so I stay shut down from you You’ve been unfriended Left a message and it failed to send I’ll turn it off and on again Just to disconnect from you Been running on three percent And you’re the cause of all of it Yeah, you're hogging the charger Don't need your spam or your tech advice You’re getting blocked I won’t play nice Better get used to this new line 'cause I'm kicking you out Yeah, I'm changing the channel now I’m disconnected Pulled the plug so I stay shut down from you You’ve been unfriended Left a message and it failed to send I’ll turn it off and on again Just to disconnect from you Disconnected I hit the 'end call' Silencing my phone Disconnected Line is busy Please hold Disconnected I hit the 'end call' Silencing my phone Disconnected You’ve been reported Everybody knows I’m disconnected Pulled the plug so I stay shut down from you You’ve been unfriended Left a message and it failed to send I’ll turn it off and on again Just to disconnect from you I’m disconnected Pulled the plug so I stay shut down from you You’ve been unfriended Left a message and it failed to send I’ll turn it off and on again Just to disconnect from you

I don't wanna be part of your Doc Martin cult I know the second I don't agree I'll get cut No one questions your methods so I stick out I always said that's not something that I'm about For you I worked hard to develop thicker skin Yet you guys haven't since way back when You don't have time to talk to me if your alone Get your cult to beat up traitors through the phone I don't wanna be part of your Doc Martin cult, yeah I know the second I don't agree I'll get cut And you're not like the other girls, you all shout You know that's not something that I'm about Think you're so cool 'cause you hate your mom (ugh) Your boyfriend's calling trying to get it on (with me) You cropped me out of your polaroid delusion And I am past looking for a solution I don't wanna be part of your Doc Martin cult If you didn't make me cry I'd be less salty No one questions your methods so I'll stick out I always said that's not something that I'm about I don't wanna be part of your Doc Martin cult, yeah Don't want to be part of your Doc Martin cult, yeah I said wanna be part of your Doc Martin cult, yeah Be a part of your Doc Martin cult, yeah Doc Martin cult

You were introduced in the prologue Perfect daughter, perfect son Then you blew up at a friend who lied to you Teacher pulled you two apart, parent conference had to start, and now 'Cause you're a problem child an issue waiting to happen A meteor streaking down to Earth to set the whole world on fire Light your own funeral pyre You're not a phoenix, you're a wannabe Protagonist dies chapter two You won't rise from the ashes of this burnt out world And you know, oh, you know Deep inside that label isn't right for you but you can't object ‘Cause you're a problem child an issue waiting to happen A meteor streaking down to earth to set the whole world on fire Goes against every desire You're an issue, you're a problem, you're a psychopath You're a shadow of a person, a clone mismatched People see you as a problem that can be fixed A pitstop on their way to fame and greatness Everyone's a fair-weather friend They scribble over you with pen And they don't wanna know your name ‘Cause you're a problem child Yes dear, a problem child What's your next move, problem child? Yes, what will you do? Oh, what will you do?

My head starts spinning, tears well up in my eyes Frustration blinds me and it’s hard to read between the lines What does this even mean? What’s the point of all these numbers? What use is this time constraint to me? I’ve given up on asking why this all matters I’ve given up on asking why it’s all so hard You make it more difficult everyday What’s the point of this burden anyway? When will I have to answer twenty math questions All in fifteen minutes except for in this stupid fucking test? Why does it matter? Why should I care? Yeah it’s my future, calc could upgrade my appeal If you’re sitting on that college board, do you know how I really feel? I can read between the lines and see the applications There’s no reason it should be this goddamn hard When will I have to answer twenty math questions All in fifteen minutes except for in this stupid fucking test? Why does it matter? Why should I care? I love to learn, I want to learn But this ain’t learning this is hell Everyday is hell And I’m learning this from home You think it’s easy? I say no It just gets harder ‘cause they think that you should just know They think that you should just know They think that you should just know They think that you should just know But I don't know I don't know the fucking answers and it's your job to explain it all to me So why aren't you explaining it to me?
